Pictures!

I know it's taken forever, but I finally found my camera chord so here are a ton of pictures! From the beginning of the packing to the...almost end of unpacking. The house looks like a wreck in all the pictures, but at least you can tell it's being lived in and enjoyed!

I do have to say that I am so proud and grateful to have such a multitalented husband to help me with all my designing dreams for our home :D. He does such a wonderful job and is so patient with me. He's truly, the best!

P.S. These got so out of order when I was uploading them, sorry.

The makings of our master suite! The wall turned out so great. We just need to finish the wall decorations and curtains now.

Justin painted the laundry room Red! It's actually called Chinese Laquer, but I like it.

There is a living room in the midst of the junk :D

Liddy and I go on walks every morning when she's home. She spent the weekend with me last weekend between the garage and laying on blankets in the house. She also is great at staying on the porch right in front of the door. She's in Jensen until we finish building her Kennel, so I hope we can finish it this weekend cause I MISS her!

This is the finished product for the dining room. I know the beginning pictures are at the end...but I can't fix it, so oh well.

This is our new couch! We love love it! It's so soft and it cleans up so easily!

My dad and mom have been so great and helpful in this whole experience! I appreciate and love them so so much. The Kitchen....it was a wreck the whole time because like 1/4 of the stuff we own...goes in the kitchen :D

Justin, starting to paint the wall in our bedroom

The dining room getting its transformation.

Starting to unload stuff...it was just piled everywhere.

SOLD! This is us right before we went to close

The first things we unloaded! Our beds :D

Liddy had to ride in the cab with us because the bed of the truck was full and she was being such a little baby, I had to hold her in my lap the whole way. She is so spoiled!

We looked like hilbilly's with our truck full of mattresses! This was me starting to pack :D Little did I know, how much more was to come!

Homeward

I just finished reading the book Homeward by Marcie Anne Jenson. It is an LDS novel about a Chilean Indian who is orphaned as a child and adopted into an American LDS Family, who returns to Chile at the request of her biological Mapuche Indian grandmother and discovers her biological ancestory and connects the history of her Mapuche lineage with the lineage of the gospel.

I honestly had a hard time reading this book. I had to get nearly 2/3 of the way through the book before it "turned into a good book." I think part of the reason I had a hard time getting into it was because of all the ethnic references involved in it. There are many Spanish and Mapudungun words and the story is quite piecey at the beginning. Although, I am grateful I persevered and finished it, because the ending is worth it. The story comes together, makes you want to cry and smile for the rest of the day :D What a good book is supposed to do :D

I hate meetings....

Wow...that nervous pit in your stomach. All the questions! What could they possibly have to say? Did I do something wrong? Am I in trouble....of course my mind naturally wanders to the worst possible outcomes. I hate when someone says "I need to meet with you"..............I wish they would say......shoot I dunno. If you have something to tell me...please don't tell me you have something to tell me four hours ahead of time...I can be patient...but in the mean time I will spin myself into a dither with all the possible things that could be said...
I am currently in that dither....

First night at home...

So last night Justin and I brought up all the shower stuff and our clothes to officially MOVE OUT. We went to dinner with Melanie and Monty at Cafe Rio (MMMMMMMMmmmm Good!) After dinner they came up to the house and helped us clean and hang up some stuff. They've been a great help! We cleaned for a while and enjoyed our first night at our own home. I loved it and slept great, but all the weird noises kept Justin up. Poor baby. Hopefully he will get used to it and be able to sleep better here soon.
I'm headed to the Western Living furniture sale today. Hopefully I can find a cheap nice couch for our living room!

Here's a few...

I don't know where the chord to my camera is yet to share all our pictures of our wonderful house, so I'll post the two Justin had on his phone.
I owe Justin, My dad, His dad and Colt all BIG time for this. They did fake wainscotting on the bottom half of the walls in the dining room for me and the top half is a beautiful gray color. (Better pictures to come!)

Justin is such a sweetheart. He knew I wanted an under the cupboard trashcan so he went and bought one and installed it for me while I was at work yesterday. I love it :D

Reading and moving...

Over the last few weeks the internet has been down at work so it's given me a great opportunity to read during the day when it's slow. I read two books last week. The first was called "A Good Woman," I don't remember who authored it, but I have to say I couldn't make it past page 300. It was a very very boring book! I wouldn't recommend it, lol. The other book I read was called "An Honest Heart" by Richard M. Siddoway. It's a LDS novel about a girl in California who is taught the gospel and is later converted. A very good book! This week I'm reading "Homeward" by Marcie Anne Jenson. I havne't started it yet, but I hope it's good too!
And the best news of all....Justin and I got to close on our house yesterday. Justin's mom and dad and mam and pap came over around lunch yesterday and helped Justin with the Waynes coating and painting part of thing. We also got one of the two trailers unloaded. After they left, Trish, Colt, Jess, My Mom and Dad and little brother, and a neighbor from our ward all came over and helped us unpack and move things in. They were all such a great help. There is still so much to be done, but I know we couldn't have done it all without their help. It was wonderful and I appreciate it so much!
There is much more work to do but we got a great start and I'm excited to get our house set up for us into our own little home! Thanks Everyone!

Hailey's Birthday Party

I know it happened about a month ago, but I just got looking at these pictures and wanted to post them. We all went to the park and had brownies and ice cream. She played on the park with me for a while, but the part she was most excited for were the water balloons. She had to much fun throwing them at her mom and dad. There was one that just would not break, no matter how hard the threw it. I think she tried at least 15 times to get it to break, It was so much fun. I had to post this video of her with her new jack in the box. I just love the look on her face, she thought it was so funny! She's definately a doll. I miss her so much now that they've moved! I'm excited for them to come back up for Halloween! It will be great.
