1st Fall Project

...well- it's the first Fall Project  I'm doing for me.

My Mom, Sister, Nieces and I are going to SLC tomorrow for a little girls trip.

We're going to Red Mountain Wholesale to buy some flowers

Then we're going to Hobby Lobby to get some yarn for some of Tiffany's newest adorable creations!

Then we're going to IKEA- because Tiffany has never been.

{This is where my project comes in.-- I'm going to build a Gallery Wall- from this boring wall}

And I want to make it look something like this:

With our Family Pictures from earlier this year. And some Frames from the beloved blue store.

After IKEA- we get to go check into our hotel and take Hailey and Natalie to the IMAX to watch the newest movie about Mokeys...Hopefully it will be good.

Then on to some good ole clothes shopping @ the Gateway, Dinner and top it off with a Pool party at the hotel before bed.

Set into motion...

Well...remember a while back, when I planned out how to save us some money by selling our truck, and car, reclaiming the Equity we had it in them. Then buying a cheaper truck and SUV? Saving enough money to buy a camper, and still be under what we were paying for just the car and the truck in the first place.

I guess shame on me for sharing, because we got a lot of protest and unwelcome advice, but coupled with that advice, I got good feedback and was told that we weren't the only ones that were trying to accomplish this. So- ignoring the mostly unqualified advice we received, we continued to pursue what we felt was right.

And Guess what!

 This week- the truck sold! We've found another truck that we're thinking about buying- It's newer, less miles, and cheaper. Sounds like it fits in with the plan to me, so we'll see how this goes!

On top of that plan that we're already shuffling- Justin is considering selling his little black truck, that he just got running, and between that and pulling a little extra "play" money- we could pay cash for a 4 seater RZR.

We're like...really excited!

August

...it's already here.

My internal "calendar" is telling me that it's Autumn.

There's that brisk chill in the air, that smells good when you breathe it in.

I LOVE AUTUMN.

I know we didn't have much of a Summer this year-which is a bummer. I did get to enjoy what summer we did have though.

Although I would be okay with it going longer- I hate to say it, but my "clock" has spoken and Autumn is here.

I'm getting the urge to tear down all my decorations and redo them-- but when I think of what I would redo them with, I picture things like this:

So I asked Justin the other day if he would freak out if I started decorating for Fall/Halloween- and he said I had to wait til after his Birthday.

September 8th.

It's not like I'm counting down the days or anything....

In other news:

August is a fun month for us (since it's already half over- and I'm just barely posting about it)

I pulled off Chelsea's baby shower in the 6th. It was awesome and cute and I loved it!

Makes me want a little girl

{we don't always need what we want though--haha}

Then Justin and I went to SLC on the 11th and sold, Sophie, Light blue puppy and Dark Blue puppy.

Very successful trip. We were then down to 5 dogs.

Then on the 13th, I pulled off Trish's baby shower- Another success!

This last week has been fun, with Ward Water slide parties on Tuesday (our ward) and yesterday (Jensen-my home ward)

 I got our new computer all hooked up and the vinyl cutter working and finally got some vinyl done last night. We also got a deposit on Pink and the lady is coming to pick her up today around noon-ish, so we are down to 2 males left!

$600- anybody??

As for the rest of the month:
 I get to go help haul wood tomorrow with my mom's family. Ever since I was little- even though Hauling wood is pretty hard work- it has always been great fun for me. I get to be with my family, we always have good talks, and good food. I look forward to it every year.

Then next weekend, My mom, Sister and 2 neices are going to SLC for a Girls trip. We're going to the IMAX and a few other fun stops.

Then! The 1st-4th of September, we're going on a Pratt family trip!

We're going to go stay at Melanie and Monty's new little house in St.George for a few days and enjoy the warm weather, shopping, golfing etc. Then go to Vegas for a night or 2 and see a show, and walk the strip etc.

We have to be home in time for the Car Show @ Septemberfest in Rangely on Labor Day Monday.

Maybe we can talk my parents into riding over with us and having a fun day over there!

I can't believe the year is so far gone already, but I have certainly enjoyed myself this year!

Here's hoping there's more fun to come! Before the dreaded snow appears :S

Blessed

We got lucky blessed. Little Pink puppy just sprained her little elbow- no broken bones! Whew!

 I stopped at the gas station on my way to the doctor: crisis averted.

I LOVED my new doctor- even though I hate those appointments.

I'm going to work an hour late for running so behind this morning-- and the world is good!

P.S. Justin is amazing and helps me through everything- especially the bad days :D

Wednesday....

Oh...I am hoping and praying that today goes better. It's only 7:20 and I've already:

• Slept in
• Woke up with a raspy throat and stuffy nose...nooooooo
• While getting ready- Justin let the puppies out and 5 minutes later the 3 boys have Pink pinned and screaming bloody murder- brought her in the house and we're pretty sure she's got a broken leg. It's not just sore it Hurts her...dangit. {Take dog and truck to Tiffany's house to take to the vet as soon as they open-THANKS TIFFANY!}
• On the way back to the house- my low fuel light comes on
• Needless to say I was late to work
• I would just take the day off but I have a meeting @ 8 that I have to go to--
• Not to mention- my favorite doctors appointment of the year is today @ 10:30.....

Splash Party!

This past weekend was my Grandma Rosemary's and Aunt Jada's combined birthday party. They had water balloon launchers, kiddy pools, balloon darts, a fishing pond, sprinklers, a slip n slide etc. We could only stay for a little while, but it was great fun! The kids loved all the water games and let's just say it got a little intense at times.

I'm so grateful to have such a fun family that can get together and enjoy eachothers company without contention and let their kids play together!
