My poor Liddy

Here's praying the vet can get Liddy feeling better. I swear it's one thing after another with her, and I just wish she could catch a break! She's been vomiting her own saliva all night, until this morning, which has about a pint of blood....needless to say she's at the vet under observation all day today. They have her on IV'S and are trying to figure out why she is so toxic. They think she got into something so they're giving her a form of charcoal that should absorb whatever is poisoning her....we hope.

Rain, Rain.....

We have been trying to finish up our softball season all week this week. We played a game last thursday and via miracle we won, so we got to advance in the tournamet and our next game was supposed to be Monday at 7:30, but when we got there, there was the most horrible storm rolling in, so they post-poned the games til Tuesday, but we got a call about 4 saying that the fields were too wet to play, so we were supposed to play yesterday, and the weather was good all day long, until we got to the fields and started warming up. In came another huge storm....so everyone waited in their vehicles for the storm to roll through and see how bad it was, but by the time it was over, all the fields were total swamps....so the games are post-poned until further notice....Kinda frustrating. But before we went to the fields yesterday Justin helped me make two batches of peach jam with peaches my grandma unexpectedly delivered to me.... the jam looks good and tasted good before we put it in the jars. I hope they set up right and turn out good :D
I get to go to Salt Lake to the spa with Nichole in two days and I can't wait!! I'm so excited. That and we have about 29 days til we close on our house! I'm praying for patience.....

House News

It is very incredible how much our lives are shaped out for us and all we have to do is follow.... I know that is what has happened for Justin and I as we have gone through the ordeal of trying to find the perfect house for us. It was crazy because we thought we had found the one, we made an offer on it and when the sellers countered, just as we expected them to....we hesitated severely, which neither of us expected. We thought that when the counter came, we would accept and that would be that...but, we were led.... and this is our new house. We are supposed to close October 15 and I couldn't be happier! This is our house! I love the front porch. This is Our Living Room

Here's hoping....

I am so excited I can hardly breathe. We found a house we both love and just put an offer on it today. It's brand new and it's perfect! Now we just have to pray and cross our fingers that we can get it!

“Laugh as much as you breathe and love as long as you live.”

It's so good to have Justin home. I got a lot accomplished while he was gone, but it was only so I could keep my mind off of how much I missed him. Saturday my mom and I went out to Salt Lake to pick up Justin and My dad and I've never seen two happier boys. They were all grins and all through telling their stories they just smile and laugh. I'm so glad they had such a great vacation and created so many great memories. We have hundreds of pictures!
Sunday after we got home we went over to my mom's house and Tiffany and Jason brought down baby Natalie for Justin and Dad to meet her. She looks exactly like Hailey did when she was born. She was Jondiced really bad when they brought her home on Friday and they had to keep her in a Billy Bed for two days but her belly rhuben finally went down enough that she could come out. She is doing great and is so adorable!
Yesterday night we did a big Fish Fry party at my mom's house and invited all of her family over. I really don't like fish at all and it all turned out sooo good! I ate for three hours strait I think. It was all so good. We printed up some of the guys' pictures and had them in a book for people to look at. They had a great time telling stories! It's great to have them home.

Today was Justin's Birthday too, so we're just partying all over the place lately. We went bowling for his birthday, then his big party will be on Saturday. He's been such a sweetheart and is loving being home too. It's great.

To Cook...

I went to the movie Julie/Julia last night with Nichole. It was late and we were tired, but it was good to get out of the house. I've learned that whenever I go to a movie, most of the time I leave wishing I did whatever the people in the movies do...Kinda weird. So last night I left dreaming of what a great cook I could be if I would only apply myself... But, I've always loved to cook so I feel like this is a more valid goal than me being Jason Bourne or something. Haha. I'm excited to have a kitchen :D Then I can experiment and learn to be a more sophisticated cook.
I think I found a house too..... :D I can't wait to show Justin. It'll be great.

Welcome Baby Natalie!!!

I'm so excited that this long week is almost over. My mom and I are going to Salt Lake in two days to pick up Dad, Justin and Eric. I'm so excited for my man to be home :D Although I teased him until the day he left that I was mad at him for even going :D Honestly I'm glad he went. I know he needed a vacation and so did I. I've gotten a lot of stuff done while he's been gone and I'm pretty proud :D I also know that my dad was so excited to go and I hope he's had an amazing time up there too. I know he's never done anything like this, and neither has Justin, so it will be a great new experience for both of them.
My sister had her baby last night at about 8:10. She weighed 8 lbs 10 oz and was 21" long. I went over to my mom's house last night after our LAST softball game (finally) so I could see Hailey. I just love holding and playing with her, she's such a doll. I know she's been a little upset, and maybe unsure of what to think of all of this. She knows why she is staying at grandma's house, but she still gets a little teary at bedtime. So I wanted to go over and rock her and see if I could get her to sleep. So we sat at the kitchen table and she curled up and we sang songs until she was almost out, she woke up and cried a little so she went to grandma and was out like a light. She's such a sweet thing!
I'm going to visit Natalie tomorrow when then get home from Roosevelt. Today I get to go house hunting. With Justin gone it has given me time to pour through the houses on the internet and I've narrowed it down to four houses. I'm going to go "preview" them today with Nichole, so if one is bad and needs scratched then I can do that before I have to drag Justin through it. He has actually been really great with me being so insintant that we find a house. I'm just so excited to have my own space and my own kitchen and to unpack my entire storage shed full of stuff....I know he might get tired of it at times and sometimes he's not as enthusiastic about things as I am so I get upset for about 2 seconds til I realize how crazy I'm probably driving him. He has been great though and I have to give him credit for it.
Yesterday I spent most of the day on the phone between the High School and college trying to get things straitened out for me to go back to College to finish my Bachelors degree. With things going the way they are now I want to start in January, for Spring semester and just go part time, slowly but surely until I'm done. I know I can't load myself down like I did so much in High School. It would make school go by a lot faster but I would have to sacrifice way too much of other things to be able to do that again. So slowly but surely...maybe I'll actually learn a lot more that way too :D
