The Dentist
So I have had an overfill of Dental visits this year. Although Justin has had more in the last few years than I have had in my lifetime -- poor kid! A few weeks ago he broke a tooth so we got him in and an old cavity had not been drilled out all the way before they capped it so it gave way and broke off. Next option root canal. So they did the first half of the root canal last tuesday and we went in yesterday to have them finish. They were running behind schedule and could only get part way through it so they put a temporary fill on and he has to go back in to get the crown put in next week. After that he has to go back and get all THREE of his cavities fixed. So since I went and sat with him yesterday through his appointment I was super paraniod about going to my dental check up this morning. I had myself so freaked out I was almost ready to cry on my way to town....I have a huge pain tollerance but when it comes to metal on my teeth-- my nerves get shot. It's like nails on a chalk board. I just hate it! So I was very happy with my 30 min. appointment and happy to hear I have beautiful healthy teeth, no cavities and I don't have to go back til August. SCORE! Now I just feel really bad for poor Justin! Him n his teeth need a break!

Lasik..and Fathers Day
So...Depression has not officially set in, but Friday was a disappoitment to say the least. I knew when I scheduled my appointment that there would be a chance my pre-exam would conclude that I was not a good candidate for lasik but all the tests Dr. Seitz did showed no signs of problems. So Friday when I got there after two hours of testing they tell me that my cornea is too thin to do lasik, but they could do something called a PRK which is where they use the laser that reshapes your cornea, just like lasik, but since my cornea is too thin instead of cutting a flap in your cornea to use as a natural bandaid, they would just run the laser through my cornea to reshape the retina but that would create a huge abrasion on my cornea, it pretty much just burns it. So if they did that they would have to put a contact over it to act as a bandaid to help it heal, which was problem number two: I'm allergic to the surgical plastic contacts are made of which is why I don't wear them already. He also said that PRK has a longer recovery time, meaning I would have to supplement eye drops every 15 minutes for the next 2-3 months, which wouldn't be fun, especially where I already have underproducing tearducts so my eyes would almost be intolerably dry all the time. Another down side is that I'm only 20 and since a person's perscription doesn't usually stabalize til their 30's or in women, after they're done having children, he said that even if I did choose to have it done that day, I would probably have to come back within 5-10 years and have it redone or I would be right back in glasses......
So my mom and I ended up spending the weekend shopping for fathers day gifts and fabric. It was pretty fun aside from the disappointing news. I made it home Saturday in time for Melanie's Father's day barbecue at our house where Lisa, Tiff, Danny, Ramsey, Stefanie, Morgan, Ali, Ashton, Grayson and Mammy and Pappy all came down and we had an indoor barbecue because of the storm. It was pretty fun and after the weather cleared up we all went outside and played on the rope swing Justin built for me. The kids had a blast.

Sunday I got to go to my parents house for lunch, then when justin got home from work we went back over and gave Monty his gifts before he had to leave for Salt Lake to go back to China. Then we went back to my parents to give my dad his gifts and then headed to my grandparents for my grandpa's fathers day dinner. We sure did a lot of eating! Hailey got to eat her first corn on the cob ever too. I offered her a bite and she immediately figured it out and took it from me! It was funny but we had fun and got to enjoy all of our fathers and grandfathers!!! Hope you all had a great one too!

Gush...Gush
I can't help it, I have to show off what a sweet husband I have. He sent me flowers to work today and they are so gorgeous! It's funny because there was this sweet older lady sitting next to the door when they came in and when she said they were for me the lady goes " You must not have been married very long," I smiled because I'm proud of the 13 months we've been married so I can consider that a long time, lol, I just have an ultra-great husband :D

Silly Logic...
So, I got made fun of yesterday. I had a massage that was given to me for my birthday (thanks Jess) forever ago that I finally got scheduled. Well I have always made sure I wear waterproof mascara when I get a massage because my eyes water when I lay down, like most people, and don't want to look like a runny mess when it's over....so Justin was laughing at me when I was taking my makeup off before bed because the stuff is a pain to try and get off....It's waterproof for crying outloud, lol. I think it's just one of those things that might seem silly....but is perfectly logical anyway....Does anyone else have those little things? Or am I just thinking about this way too much, lol?

Lovin Monday's Off!
So two weeks ago tomorrow, I started a new job at The Pink Salon. At that point I was still working mornings for Paula at Bee Haven, but last Tuesday was my last day for her. Things just slowed down too much and she is working on selling the business, which is much easier when you're not paying employees, so I now only work Part time for Pink and I just have to say that I love it! It's so relaxed and friendly, there's no high stress levels or disorganization. All the girls are friendly and work together to help eachother and I am enjoying it so much! I am also excited to have my own "in" to getting my hair done regularly now, lol. I just have to decide what I want to do with it.
This Friday is going to be such an exciting day for me! Ever since I started having problems wearing contacts and had to start wearing my glasses all the time, I've wanted to just get lasik and fix the problem. Justin and I have talked about it so much, I think I've driven him crazy, so last week I finally called to get some information on recovery times and how far they were booked out and she talked me into making an appointment this Friday! I'm so excited and nervous, but I know it'll be great!!! I can't wait!
Plus now I can change my hair however I want because I don't have to worry about my hair getting my glasses dirty or in the way! YEAH!

Jackson
Justin and I just got back from an incredibly fun trip to Jackson Hole with his family. We were there for five days, and had a blast. It rained quite a bit but that didn't stop us from enjoying it. We spent a lot of time walking around the down town shopping center, which was very neat. We took a horse drawn coach ride the first day we were there and my neice, Josie, just loved it! We also got to spend an afternoon at the Bar J Wranglers-- Awesome experience if you ever get the chance to go. One morning we also took a gondola ride up the tetons and went from around 6000 ft. to 10000 ft. Our guide told us that the mountain we were on got 15 feet of snow this winter. HOLY COW! It was even snowing while we were there. Very fun. We also ate a lot of good food, got an old time picture taken, I will post later. I am an awesome saloon girl by the way, lol. The alpine slide was fun, would've been funner without the rain, but we still loved it. I even went swimming with Justin for the first time since we've known eachother, which was very fun. All in all it was a great time spent family!

Our Anniversary
On May 3rd, for Justin and my anniversary we got to spend a few days in Grand Junction. We had so much fun walking around all the old parts of down town, and we spent a lot of time at the mall. It was just nice to spend time away and get to hang out with eachother and relax! It was wonderful! Here are some Pictures.
