New Job...
So I was recently given a wonderful opportunity to go and work doing something that I've always wanted to do. A lady I've known for quite a while is opening a gift shop type store that 's going to do floral arrangements and gift baskets (What I want to do) and also sell an array of small home decor. I'm really excited to go and work for her. My first day is Monday, so I will no longer be working for Dr. Pierce. I think it's going to be a great opportunity and blessing. I will have a more flexible part time schedule so it will be a lot easier on my schedule. I should get off in the early afternoon so I have time to get things done before Justin gets off work, thus we can spend more time having fun. :D I'm very very excited!

Round and round...
I've been trying to get some time in on my quilting while Justin has been gone. I've gotten down to Embroidering my circles on and binding it....but the circles are taking forever!!! I'm doing thirthy of them and each one takes 3-5 minutes I'm guessing...oh wow... Such along process, I guess it would take longer to do it by hand...So I'm grateful the machine can do it.

Justin will be home tomorrow around 8pm. I'm going to go help my parents haul wood in the morning so hopefully that will make the time go by faster.

So I had an idea at work today for a cork board and when I got home, i got right to it. This is how it turned out. I made another one, but left it at my mom's house when I went to show her. I'll post a picture of it tomorrow. Let me know what you think??
Justin will be home in 3 days. I can't wait. I'm so excited!!!

Justin in Texas...
Since my last post on the 5th Lots has happened...again, lol. Friday we had his birthday party, then Saturday we went to the NATCO company Barbecue. It is starting to cool down and the days have been just gorgeous. Perfect weather, green grass, green trees, it's been great! That was fun, then that night we came home, Justin ran to the Jensen Hills to catch one last ride before he left Sunday morning to Texas. That made me sad. We watched a movie when he got home then he got up at 5 and left me for two weeks.
I went to church and babysat in Nursery. Mom and dad came in the last hour to help me because I was there alone and we had fun. After that Melanie, Eric Pratt and I went to Maeser and sat through their sacrament with them for Grayson's baby blessing. I had fun playing with Ashton, we kept eachother entertained. I had a hard time staying awake through all of it though.
Monday I went to work, and kept myself busy working on my personal cook book with all my favorite recipes in it and running errands. When I got home I finished sewing together the top of my quilt and I sewed the bottom two pieces together, so now I just embroider it and sew the top and bottom together and I'll be done.

Tuesday morning I picked Jess up at 6:30 and we met Shayla in Roosevelt and all piled in her car and took Jess out for surgery. We had fun. Then we spent FOREVER getting to our motel because the closest interstate entrance was closed so we had to backstreet our way around. Once we finally got there, we got Jess settled and ordered some dinner, then Shayla dyed my hair for me. I loved it!!!! She did it darker than I've ever had it before and I really like the contrast that it has with my blonde.

Wednesday we took Jess to a checkup then we headed home. Once we got into Vernal, we got her settled at home, I went to work for 1 1/2 hours and caught up on paperwork from the days I'd missed, then i went to the park and talked to Justin on the phone as much as I could before I met Alice and Alison and we went to Bunco together. That was really fun. After that was over at about 9 I came home and got new clothes and pajamas and went to my parents house and stayed the night. They went to Salt Lake to the state fair on a date so i had to get Eric up for school yesterday morning. He got up and out the door on time though so it worked.
After I got Eric off to school I came and helped Melanie and Eric Pratt get a load in the back of Eric's truck because he went to St. George so he took some stuff down to Tyler and Amy. Then I got ready and went to work. On my lunch break I had to come home and clean because I had an Arbonne Skin Care Party at 7 when I got off work. That was fun. It was just Melanie and me, but we got what we wanted and had fun with it. Between Work and the party I did another quick little vinyl project on Mimmy's windows. I liked this one a lot. Here's a picture.
I had to catch a picture of this though........Liddy loves to chew on bones and she is FAMOUS for finding horns and bones all over the place on the hill behind the house and in the hay fields and sheds...wherever she can find them. Justin wants to take her hunting for Sheds because she's always bringing home Deer and cow horns...but this was definately something new!! It's a whole Bull Skull!!! haha She's so funny. She's my pride and Joy :D haha makes me smile. She's like my kid :D

Justin's Birthday
Friday night, before Justin had to leave on Sunday, we had a birthday party for him. Melanie cooked his favorite peanut chicken for dinner, which was really good and we got his favorite Raspberry swirl cake for him. He is in Texas today, on his real birthday, so i sent him flowers and Balloons. Quite a few people came up to celebrate with us, it was really fun. We had Mam, Pappy, Melanie, Eric, My Mom, Dad, Sister, Brother, Brothwer-in-law, Neice and My Wadsworth Grandparents from Wyoming were here so they came down too. Jess, Colt and clint came down to visit too, which was really fun. We had a really good time.Friday, September 5, 2008
Good thought.
"You are what you repeatedly do. Excellence is not an event; it is a habit"-Aristotle
I really liked that quote. It hits me deep and reminds me of another quote that says something to the effect of what you do when you're alone reveals your true character. I love quotes, they make me think. There are a lot of very wise people that have contributed greatly to this world and their thoughts and wisdom continue to be shared through the words they left behind.
Last night Justin and I did one of those detox foot ionizing things with Ruth Norris from our ward, she came over and hooked us up to it. I was really sceptical at first, it didn't make sense to me how these little ions would travel through your body, attach to ONLY the bad toxins and then know that they were supposed to carry them back down to the tub of water...I did a lot of reading and most of it was negative. I actually wasn't going to do it. I wanted Justin to do it, then I would think about it, but I was the first one home and we didn't want to keep her waiting, so I did it. I was very surprised. I thought the water would just turn different colors like there was food coloring in it, but there was actually a texture to it, you could see the specs of color and they permeated the water. there were metal chunks that came out and the water turned all different colors through the course of it, there was foam and bubbles, it was very interesting to say the least. I still don't know if I believe it, but even if it didn't do exactly what it was supposed to, I know it did something. I was also supported by watching Justin's do it, everyone's comes out different, so I do believe that something chemical happens between the conductors, water and the hormones and toxins in the body.
After the foot baths she practiced reflexology on all of us and I really enjoyed that, it wasn't a deep tissue massage like I enjoy, but I'll never pass up a foot rub!!! When she left, Justin, me and Melanie all soaked our feet in the tub full of warm water and tried out my new arbonne sea salt scrub, it was so great! I was surprised that Justin did it with us, but he liked it too. He's like me to where he won't pass up a foot anything :D It was fun.
