Hailey was much happier to have all her clothes off on the car ride home, which helped.

Catching Up
So it's been a really long time since I've been on. I check up once in a while but I haven't posted anything. the last time I was on here was the 16th..lots has happened in 11 days. Later that day, my dad voulenteered and I helped him hitch up Polly (our belgian Mare) to the wagon and Tiffany and Hailey came out and Justin, Eric, Melinda, me and dad all went for a wagon ride. It was really fun to get ole paul out again and I wiped down the wagon, the dust a tale of how long it had been since we'd ridden in it. I got some really cute pictures of Hailey, she was just lovin papa and the big horse. We put jingle bells around her neck and all the neighbors and their kids stopped in the street to watch us drive past. I forgot what that was like. It's been too long.

Then that night, Justin, Nichole, Taylor, Eric, Melinda, My dad and me all went to the demolition derby and had SO much fun. I told dad and Justin they were going to have to build me a demolition derby car for next year. They would be the two best engineers in this world because between the two of them I bet they could out dream anyone, then they figure out how to make it work every time. Justin told me he would build the strongest car in the world just to keep me safe. I thought it was cute. We had dad with us because mom and eric went out to salt lake to go school clothes shopping for eric so dad was home alone so we kidnapped him. I think he had fun. We sure liked havin him with us. He's so fun.

Monday I felt bad because we went to the softball games that night and Justin had called Morgan and he said that they didn't need me to play so I didn't take any clothes or anything, but then they were short so I had to call Nichole short notice to come play. She did well though and I helped Alley watch Ramsey. It was so funny. He's such a cutie. He was eating a fruit bar and had sucked all the breading off the outside so all he had in his mouth was the innards--more tart and he puckered up so cute. I had to take a picture.
Then on Thursday I went to an Arbonne Party at Jess' house, which I had never heard of before and I tried out some of their stuff. I LOVED it! I'm doing a party on September 11 and I want to order more stuff then. I loved their sea salt scrub and...oooh it was just good!
Last Saturday Justin and his dad FINALLY built a dog run for Liddy, which makes me feel much better. I'm so glad it's done.

Eric helped put Justin's four wheeler back together while they worked on the dog run.
I totally tore apart the storage shed and put together the shelves Monty brought home from Bangladesh and re-organized everything. It's a great feeling to have it all organized now instead of just stacked in piles. It was getting overwhelming. Then at 3 we got to go to the temple to Justin's friends' sealing session, which was so fun. I loved it. I almost cried like 20 times just for how happy I was for these people that I didn't even know. Another amazing part was to remember what it was like when I was sitting where she was sitting and not being able to hear anything besides the extremely loud pounding of my own heart...it was just great. Then later that night My parents came over and watched "The Sting". It's this older movie that Justin would NOT stop talking about so I finally ordered it on Netflix (which is the best by the way) so we could finally watch it. I really liked it actually. It was really good!
Sunday morning I wasn't feeling very good so Justin made me stay in bed and sleep, it was really sweet. He went and helped watch the kids in nursery and told me I better be in bed when he got back or I was in trouble. I love how he tries to take care of me. It's sweet.
Later that night I was feeling better so we went over to my parents house for our monthly family home evening. I had the lesson and chose three articles out of the May Ensign. They were all so good. I had a hard time getting through the first two without crying, then finally on the third, I couldn't do it anymore, so Justin finished for me. I am just so sensitive about the atonement, it holds such a soft spot in my heart. I can't even think about it without tearing up....
Anyway....
Then on Monday, I was so proud. My parents came to watch us play and we had Nichole come play with us again and Colt played but Jess didn't she just stood over by us and talked to me the whole time, but I finally did something good! I helped win the game...to an extent and I didn't even know it. But I was so glad my parents were there to see me! It was great. Then we went to Wendy's and met up with Tiffany and Hailey and Nichole and Taylor came and we just ate and visited for the longest time. It was great fun.
Yesterday, Tuesday, After work Justin and I went and got dominos and went over to Colt and Jess's house and ate pizza with them for dinner, then the boys left and came out to the house to work on Justin's four wheeler while Jess and I went to the movie "House Bunny" It was SO funny. I loved it and Jess and I had a fun time chit chatting and laughing. It was a good time!
Tonight Justin's cousins, aunt and grandparents came out and we had a "Try a New Recipe" party like the one I had with my family not too long ago and all the food was REALLY good. I felt bad because Justin was on his way home from the store with most of the ingredients for my recipe and people were already arriving so I just had to compromise the recipe to do without those ingredients, and it turned out pretty good, but then I felt bad that I made Justin go to the store for all this stuff that I didn't even use. He's sweet and forgave me though. It was a good time!! We're going to try and do it again once a month as a Pratt/Warren Monthly Family Home evening.

My Vinyl Experiments...
This morning Justin and I got up early and made crepes for breakfast. We invited my dad and Nichole and Taylor out and we still had Eric, Melinda, Melanie, Monty, Justin and Me at home, so there were nine of us. We all visited and ate and had fun. Then everyone went home, Melanie had to go to work so I cleaned up and went and worked on my magnet boards outside. I already gave them their own little post, but I wanted to share some other pictures of what else I've been working on.
A while ago my Aunt Alison had a Vinyl Lettering Party, which I plan to have another one soon-- but I had a couple ideas and ordered quite a few things...So here are some pictures of how they turned out. I put labels on some Heritage Hills Jars (which are my ABSOLUTE Favorite!) I plan to fill my whole pantry with them and each jar will have it's own label so they will be their own home made cannisters. I also found a couple of Justin's great grandma's antique windows that Melanie saved when they re-modeled this house and she said I could use them so I got some letters for them and they turned out really cute! The color of green definately gives them their own aged charm. I also did some tiles, but I didn't do pictures of them yet... Here they go.

Magnet Boards!!!
So I finally found some tin that I could use to make magnet boards with...the only problem is that I need to find a better way of cutting it. Using tin snips is 1-Slow and 2-Painful on the hands. So I think I'll either find a new way to cut it....or just stick to making the cork boards. Here are pictures of the three I finished though....
This One is my favorite...Because I love the Giraffe. His little brown spots are actually felt so they are soft...So cute!!!

Another Project....
I have been working on this quilt for quite a while now...I just got around to pinning it so we can bind the edges, but the thing that was the funniest to me was Hailey trying to help me. I had the quilt all streched out on the floor to pin it and it has the thick batting in it so it's really squishy...and she would walk onto it and stop and look around like...what just happened...then she would bounce on it for a minute, then fall down and just roll. It was so funny. She did it over and over, so I had to catch a picture of it!! So Cute!

Papa always carries around those round red and white peppermints in his pockets and hands them out at church or at work, wherever he goes. Well Hailey found one on his night stand and started chewing on it, well when she noticed it had a taste to it, she kept sucking on it, with the wrapper still on it. We kept an eye on her and let her keep it, but it was pretty funny because it was obvious that she liked it, and she had the wrapper sucked dry in like 5 minutes. The little Peppermint girl...
DOOT DOOT DOAT
I have a colt that is about two months old now. Her name is doot-doot-doat....like a root beer float....Only in Tyler Pratt Language :D Melanie tells this story about how when Tyler was little they would always go to mimmy's house for root beer floats, and whenever Tyler would get excited to go, he would just keep stammering "doot-doot-doat's--doot-doot-doat's"......So when my colt was born, Justin said that she looked like an upside down root beer float, because she gets lighter colored when you go from top to bottom....so, thanks to Tyler's creativity...her name became doot-doot-doat. Here are some pictures of her from when she was only a week or so, old

Busy Work...
I have always loved to create things...crafts, pictures, food...whatever. My mom is the same way and I love it. She was always sewing or cooking or crocheting... and she still does. I think that's how I learned to enjoy creating things....so here are some pictures of the cork boards I just finished.
You can't see it super well, but I distressed the Black, Family one, and I was so happy with how it turned out! It's my favorite.
