Thank You Pinterest....

I am completely addicted to Pinterest- as most of your probably are too. There are so many great ideas and recipes and motivators and quotes on there...and so on. Here are some of my "take home's" with ideas from pinterest.

I really started using it when I had 2 Baby Showers to plan this Summer... This "Paper Chandelier" was my first great idea.

I had seen "candy bar's" done before, but...

Pinterest inspired me to make these cute little name tags for each jar.

Pinterest helped me discover a love for cupcake picks...

And Stripey straws...

Then I wanted to build a Gallery wall...So I bought my frames...

And was about to pound 9 holes in the wall...when I saw something....

Similar to this....

 Make a gallery wall on a floating shelf. It saves you a ton of time laying the frames out, measuring, pounding nails and makes them easy to change pictures in for a later date.

I found these slippers on Pinterest, along with an awesome scarf that I had my ever so talented sister crochet for me!

Battery Organizer = Awesome!

I wanted to do board and batten in our basement when we were finishing it, but Pinterest really helped me sell the idea to Justin.

And now it looks awesome...

The Striped wall is probably my favorite of all the inspiration I have received. It's in my Craft room and I LOVE LOVE LOVE it!

I actually didn't  see this on pinterest before I did it. I upholstered the backs of some shelves for the craft room and office in the basement.....and I thought I was so cool...and I saw it on pinterest the next day.

This is a closet full of purses....before.

This is a closet full of purses...After. Use shower curtain hangers. $8.00.
Totally Awesome!

Little Man

I can't believe our little man is already 5 Months old! He is so smart and sweet, I just love him to pieces. He is so concerned with Justin and I and what we're doing and where we're going, he's a regular ole softy. He is so concerned with little kids any time they come over. He wants to be by their side and inspect anyone or anything that tries to come near them. It's just plain adorable. He's absolutely infatuated with Liddy. They are inseperable!

{He's a regular boy! Loves playing in the rain!}

He's such a little man with such a huge heart!

Happy Birthday Dad.

For Dad's birthday this year, all he wanted to do was take Tamara on a horse ride. Tamara Sharp is a sweet young lady in our ward in Jensen with several debilitating diseases. She has always had a fondness of horses and dad has taken her on several horse rides before. I even remember riding double with her on my horse Gar one summer before I was married. As she has grown and become more fragile, getting on a horse is too difficult for her. So this year, Dad hitched up the wagon and drove over to the Sharp's to pick her up. The whole family climbed in, and I stayed back to take pictures. I can't describe her laugh- all the way up the street to the bottom of the hill, and all the way back. It's as contageous of a laugh as they come. It is amazing to learn  from my dad- He has the sweetest spirit and knowing him, being able to make Tamara smile was a better gift than anyone else could have given him that day- or any day.

My next project...

Even though, I have 50-bajillion projects going on right now. I know what I want my next one to be.

I am going to make this on a board for my dining room wall.
 {Obviously I can't decide what font to use}
I love it, and that it applies to more than just our physical well being.

Listening to the Elk in Colorado

It has become a family tradition of ours to drive up Justin's favorite (secret) road in Colorado every Fall and listen to the Elk bugle. This year some of our family decided to come with and we had a great time! KFC, Binoculars, Jackets and Good People!

Trish Maternity

Now...I DO NOT claim to be any kind of Photographer. Today my best friend (who is due in 2 days) asked me to come take some maternity pictures for her. So of course I went and for being a non professional, I thought they didn't turn out half bad!
Congrats Bart and Trish! I can't wait to meet that adorable little girl!!!

P.S. I know Justin loves to hunt, but I hate having him gone. He needs to find a new hobby.
